Come, Join the Fun! Your child has the opportunity to participate in a Community Based Engineering program. Kids will work in small teams with UMass, Boston educators and mentors to solve an engineering problem in their local community. The teams will work to design and build prototypes of inclusive playground equipment, so that all children can play together.

Children entering grades 2-5 will be engaged in designing, prototyping, and creative problem solving to develop engineering design skills and communication skills.
