Come and join us at Sandy Beach for a fun 90 minutes of volleyball! Learn the fundamentals of volleyball from bumping and setting, to spiking and serving at the Sandy Beach volleyball court.
The emphasis will be on teaching the correct technique in order to excel in all phases of the game. The time is broken down into 60 minute of drills and 30 minutes of scrimmage. The girls will also learn how to communicate on the court, create a cheer or two, learn some cool volleyball jargon, meet new friends and along the way learn to love volleyball. The main emphasis will be to teach the girls to compete within themselves and against others.
This is a great opportunity to introduce girls to the great game of volleyball!
Instructed by Jack Wong who currently coaches volleyball, basketball, and baseball at The Fay School in Southborough. In addition, he coaches for CMASS Junior Volleyball Club and Basketball Specialist School AAU program. Jack encourages youths to compete within the rules of the game as best as they can and regardless of the final score, learn that they will always be successful.
